Release Name: beta [Download]

Notes:
This package contains the files needed to make the Playstation 2 Network Adaptor (ethernet/modem)'s modem portion work with Linux.

To install, you'll have to place the vmlinux.serial file on your memory card and edit p2lboot.cnf and add the following line:

"Modem" vmlinux.serial "" 203 /dev/hda6 "" Linux with Modem Driver

You must replace /dev/hda6 with your actual root partition.

You must also place the serial.o module in /lib/modules/2.2.1/misc/

If you would like to rebuild your kernel from source, apply the included patch file to your sources and rebuild as normal. The patch is a collaborative effort between SCEA and Paul Mundt. Thanks for your help, Paul.
