Summary:Notice: Move to subversion

If you are making use of the CVS repository feature on this website for your project, please take note that we shortly plan to convert these repositories to subversion.
CVS access will be disabled on Monday 18 October at 12pm PST (8pm UK, 9PM France/Germany, 5AM Tues Melbourne). ViewCVS will remain available for your old archive. All projects will now be accessible through subversion. General usage on the command line is very similar to CVS, so we do not anticipate difficulties for users.
You can read about subversion here; thanks to nervus for building subversion for PS2Linux (readme). Enjoy subversion!

SUBJECT: Security and improvements

We can tighten up security if we shut down cvs access, and svn is very, very similar to use (as well as having some nice improvements).

You can read the developer's thread here for more discussions about it:
https://playstation2-linux.com/forum/message.php?msg_id=45598

If you need an svn client to run on your ps2linux box, nervus kindly built one which is now in CFYC:
https://playstation2-linux.com/files/cfyc/svnclient-ps2linux.tar.bz2

CVS works, but svn works better!

Sarah.
