I'm not able to police every message in every forum. Whether you like or dislike the Linux for Playstation 2 kit, please respect the fact that this is a public website and not everyone appreciates foul language or personal attacks. Please also consider that not everybody is at the same level of understanding, so think before you respond to a question that seems silly on the surface.

SUBJECT: Linux (for Playstation 2) available in NZ?

I'd like to have a go at developing PS2Linux here in New Zealand. I've got some ideas on selling PS2 with the linux kit plus a few extra services locally.

I don't know about this region thing. NZ has some fair trading laws and New Zealanders travel a lot and buy DVDs (legally) overseas, which they want to play at home. We're a fairly honest bunch so it's not about piracy - it's more about
"buy anywhere, play anywhere".
