BY: simpace DATE: 2004-Jan-02 16:59 SUBJECT: Network Problem! Please Help HI, I`ve finally booted up Blackrhino after a lot of work and now i have a problem with the Network. I can`t ping to http://www.playstation2-linux.com or any website. Maybe i have some settings wrong in the /etc/network/interfaces file. I don`t know what do i need to type in the network and broadcast sections in the interfaces file. What are they exectely? My settings looks like this: auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 ##UNCOMMENT FOR DYNAMIC ASSIGNMENT #iface eth0 inet dhcp iface eth0 inet static address 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.0.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255 gateway 10.0.0.138 Please help me with my problem. Thanks.
