Sauce, it seems like this case is a pretty special exception. In this case, it means the difference between being able to distibute a ready to run memcard image containing an SPS2 application, and only being able to distribute instructions on how to build such an image.
Obviously it's your call, but if votes are worth anything I vote to allow the memcard image to be distributed with the binary kernel module.
I don't technically know how you can do that of course, as your license doesn't say anything about "unless you have special written permission". I'd like to hear what you have to say on this regardless... |
