BY: eratosthenes DATE: 2004-Feb-08 04:40 SUBJECT: RE: Couple of suggestions Ah well, I have the 64k random file now, so there's no point in regenerating another. :) As for the kernels... I didn't compile HDD support into the minikernel, so if I take the normal xrhino kernel off the memory card, I won't be able to get to my HDD any more will I? This is why I need a separate memory card, one to play around with memcard-booting, the other to use for "normal" booting. Or am I wrong? If I remove my original kernel form the memory card, and store it on the HDD, will I be able to boot using DVD1 into rescue mode and place it back on? Going to carry on fiddling now...
