As lesschess is released under GPL, all redistributions have to be as well - I've copied the tarball into CVS verbatim, so if the license attributions were correct in the tarball they're correct in here also.
CVS keeps track of 3 for you as well (In CVS, older versions of files are never lost, just updated. Thus, if you want to get at file how it looked before I made xyz changes, you can. Read up on CVS if you can...)
As for 2, I think if anyone wants to link in further libraries that they're more than welcome to, but keep that in a different version of lesschess. This is all academic as nobody has suggested adding a certain library yet of course :)
Go take a look at your new project :) Thanks for the info about game/cursor logic - I had found the chessboard.h logic as it was pointed to by your FAQ I think. Nice set of documentation by the way :)
