Two years later experience demonstrates that a HD can be connected to PS2 slim (for instance HD Combo). The question is the following: I'm running Blackrhino linux dist on a V13 with a 160 GB HD (HD Combo). My only problem is that I'm not able to recognise the ethernet problem. I'va seen that previous netowrk adapters suffered a similar problem, I have patched my smap.o as related in these messages but I haven't been able to solve my problem.
This is the message (dmesg) from my kernel boot:
"eth0: Auto-negotiation timeout, not complete(BMSR=7849)
eth0: Auto-negotiation timeout, not complete(BMSR=7849)

Any idea? |
