Project Description: To develop Open Source Software (OOS) that will turn any Linux enabled PlayStation2 (PS2) into a full featured media player complete with cd/dvd-player, ability to backup cd/dvd to hard disk, playback of audio and video files from hard disk. All features should be accessible by IR remote and extremly user friendly. Web browser and ability to connect to other networked computers to allow streaming of data to and from the PS2.
