Resume:
I'm an amateur really, but I've just (07/2002) completed a Mathematics degree at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and I got a first class honours!
I've always been interested in game development, so when the linux kit came out I jumped at the chance of using my PS2 to play my own stuff... sorry, but Yabasic just doesn't cut it!
I generally program in C++, on the PC I'm able to use SDL or DirectX (though I have acheived moderate success with both)
I've never finished an entire project of my own, my ambition is that by starting and finishing my first project on the PS2 that I will be amongst the PS2 gurus of the future... or something :)
Note that the Assembly language experience included below relates only to the Z80 chip, found the in Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Texas Instruments graphical calculators, even the Nintendo gameboy and the like. I really got into TI-83 programming once upon a time :)
