Brad is a former IBM software developer, currently working on his own projects. During his tenure at IBM, he developed code on a wide range of platforms, including Linux, OS/2, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, IRIX and Windows, using a variety of languages including C, C++, Java, REXX and others.
Brad is a frequent speaker at technical conferences, and produced the core of IBM's experimental Java-based handheld synchronization toolkit known as _ManplatoSync for Java_ (available from http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/manplatosync4java).
Brad's home systems run a combination of RedHat Linux and OS/2. His primary interests lie in problems in the realm of computational theory and artificial intelligence.
Brad is currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
