Summary:IRC Channel Available

An IRC channel has been made available on the open projects network (irc.openprojects.net) for use discussing Linux for Playstation 2. It was founded by a couple of our community members, and various Sony people will try to be around when possible. The channel is #ps2linux, and again it can be found on irc.openprojects.net.

Okay, let's have a realistic question. Does anyone know if PS2 Linux will be released before 2003 in a non-beta version? Doesn't seem like it would be hard for Sony to port it to the U.S. if all it took was translating it from Japanese into English. Or German, or some other language which the majority of Linux users already use.
