Summary:IRC Channel Available

An IRC channel has been made available on the open projects network (irc.openprojects.net) for use discussing Linux for Playstation 2. It was founded by a couple of our community members, and various Sony people will try to be around when possible. The channel is #ps2linux, and again it can be found on irc.openprojects.net.

SUBJECT: IRC newbie information
For those of you who have never used IRC before, there is some useful info at http://www.openprojects.net/using_the_network.shtml

You need a chat client on your system. When you start the client, designate irc.openprojects.net as a server. Begin a session with that server, and at the text chat prompt, use the command
/join #ps2linux
to join.
